Sideways Stories from Wayside School

When  I was in elementary school, my favorite book series was “Sideways Stories from Wayside School”.  There were three books in the series and I just loved them. I read them all multiple times.  The books are a compilation of stories from an elementary school called Wayside, and there is always something crazy going on at the school. I loved these books because they were so easy to read and I liked to imagine what it would be like if I went to a crazy school like the one I was reading about. 

Several months ago I had a conversation about these books with my sister and her husband.  They had recently checked them out from the library and were enjoying reading them.  I had almost completely forgot about the books but as we began talking about them I immediately remembered how much I loved them! I found my copies of the books and started reading portions of them.  It’s amazing how much of a book you can remember even after not reading it for years.
